Teams will play 5 games each night. Official Rules are found at

Current standings will be posted by Thursday @ 6pm on this web site. |
1. Winning team is first to 11 points (5 extra points awarded for win = 16).
2. You do NOT have to bid to go out.
3. Double ups in the hole. If a team ends in the hole, they must double their ups payment for that game.
4. If caught reneging, the hand is immediately dead and the opposing team is awarded 4 points.
5. Smudge bids ARE allowed. Smudge is worth 5 points, but ALL tricks must be taken to make bid. |
1st place - $600; 2nd place - $365; 3rd place - $160; 4th place - $75
The ups pot at the end of the session will go to a final party. |
| We have alternates listed on the player roster. If you know you are unable to play one week, please contact one of them to play for you. You may also obtain your own alternate if you know someone. YOU are responsible for paying the game and ups fees for any substitutes you use. YOU are responsible for either finding a sub or rescheduling your match (within 2 weeks). If you do not make up your match within 2 weeks, the other three people are awarded 58 points and you are awarded 0. Sham Rocks is not responsible for missed games. |
| Games can be made up at any time during the week if you and
your tablemates for that week can agree on a time. Scoring envelopes are in the office (see a manager). Please return them
to a manager or bartender when you are finished. |
| Play will begin at 7pm each Monday. If you are going to be later than 7:15, you can contact the bar (782-6700) to let your teammates know you will still be arriving. If you are later than 7:30 and do not call, you will forfeit your games
that night. Your partner and opponents will each be awarded 58 points for the night. If you forfeit 2 nights, your spot will
be given to an alternate. Alternates in this situation will be able to re-schedule the weeks missed and obtain points. The
other three people involved in the missing weeks will receive either the number of points achieved during the makeup, or the
58 received from the forfeiture, whichever is higher. |
